It is Labour Friends of Scotland's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, www.labourfriendsofscotland.org, and other sites we own and operate.

 

We only ask for Personal Information (name, e-mail address, address, party membership status and payment details - if you donate or purchase something from us) when you provide it to us voluntarily. This information is used for addressing your query and providing you with a service. In addition, we may collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law. 

Data is collected by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with an answer or the requested service. Labour Friends of Scotland does not accept any responsibly for failures by suppliers or third parties. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

We use wix.com to provide you with this website, contact form and payment facility. Your information is collected via a wix.com online form and as such data is stored and processed accordingly to Wix Privacy Policy (https://www.wix.com/about/privacy). All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
